Welcome!

Thank you for visiting the Arizona Spine and Stroke Center.
We treat patients who have neck or back pain or suffer from a stiff arm or leg due to stroke. Our practice philosophy focuses on a patient-oriented approach.

You define the goals, we work to meet them.
We deliver quality compassionate healthcare by paying individual attention to your needs.  We want you to feel that you were heard and all of your concerns were addressed so that you can go home with a full understanding of your diagnosis, treatment options available, and the future direction of your health.

You will be seen by a physician at each visit.
A board-certified fellowship-trained physician is personally present and involved in your care every step of the way from initial evaluation to future visits and all procedures and tests.  We can assist you in making informed decisions regarding your health while focusing on your individual goals and treatment preferences.

Physical therapy designed specifically for you.
Dr. Fedoriw has personally visited physical therapy facilities and met the staff to assure that they provide the specific services required for your diagnosis.

Therapy didn't help?  Not all therapy is the same, McKenzie therapy can help you learn to do it right.

If prevention is the best medicine,  education is the best cure.  Hot packs and massage are great, but you can't do it yourself.  McKenzie therapy is spine specific to help you treat your own spine so you don't have to go to the doctor's office each time your back goes out.  Learn more in the spine section.

Feel like your arm or leg is a lead pipe?  See what we can do for your post-stroke spasticity.

Most strokes leave patients weak.  Some patients develop tightening of the muscles called "spasticity".  This prevents a post-stroke patient from doing certain things like extending their arm to put on a shirt, open their hand to use a doorknob, or walk without tripping.  Learn more about spasticity and the latest treatments available in the stroke section.
